MORE THAN A COMMUNITY
Three Basic Principles that Restorative Justice Revolves around

First Principle
Crime
The first principle regards crime and other wrongdoings that create harm. Harm generates needs and this is why victims are crucial to Restorative Justice.

Second Principle
Obligations
An obligation to put a situation right. The first obligation is for the offender, to help put their situation right and help them. The second obligation is to the community/individuals harmed.

Third Obligation
Principle Of Engagement
The more you involve victims and offenders in the outcomes, the more satisfied they are and the more satisfactory the outcomes are.
